We're Excited to Announce Our Interactive Content Piece!

screenshot-by-nimbus (11)All of us here at the dental office of John Carson, DDS are very excited to announce the debut of our new interactive content piece called “The Deadly Consequences of Poor Dental Care (Click Here to View).” This is completely different than a traditional infographic because it’s fully interactive, allowing users to see firsthand how poor oral health affects other parts of the body.
For example, did you know:

  • That the presence of oral bacteria has been linked to sleep apnea, ulcers, endocarditis, Alzheimer’s, and more?
  • That your risk of stroke is doubled if you don’t take care of your teeth? [1]
  • That not flossing can lead to an increased risk of heart attack?[2]

And that’s just a small percentage of the risks that stem from not practicing good oral health habits. Most importantly, all of the information on this resource is backed up by cited academic sources!
We’re hoping that this infographic will help people understand the critical importance of taking care of their teeth by brushing, flossing, and visiting their dentist regularly. We’re very proud of our oral health resource and would be honored if you shared it with your friends!
